VITAL VOICES: AMIRA YAHYAOUI (2015)

A short documentary film created by Hundredth Monkey Collective for the 2015 Vital Voices Global Leadership Awards. It is intended to provide a window into the current state of democracy in Tunisia, from the perspective of ordinary Tunisians. I recorded the on-location interviews (except 2:50-3:39), composed the introductory music, and assisted with production and post-production throughout.

VITAL VOICES: YIN MYO SU (2015)

This short documentary film was created by Hundredth Monkey Collective for the 2015 Vital Voices Global Leadership Awards. It was created with entrepreneur and activist Yin Myo Su in support of sustainable business practices in Myanmar. Along with production coordination, I was responsible for sound design, mixing, and on-location voiceover recording. Additional musical elements by Dan Radlauer. Final mix by Heard City.

TINY HANDS KITCHEN: HOW TO PERFECTLY BOIL AN EGG (2016)

A parody recipe video that I produced for Spoon University. It was created to be highly shareable, and has received over 2 million views on Facebook so far. It was also featured on Food Network's Snapchat Discover channel. I handled all aspects of production and post-production, including filming and editing. I also composed the unsettling music.

DATING ADVICE FROM @FOODBABYNY (2016)

A Valentine's Day video featuring Instagram star @FoodBabyNY. I cut it together from about an hour of raw footage – FoodBabyNY was understandably unable to read the script we had prepared for him, so I had to improvise in post-production. Food Network featured this video on their Facebook page and Snapchat Discover Channel, and it received millions of views on various platforms.

THE TRUMP-O-SPHERE (2016)

A 360-degree interactive video featuring the lovable and terrifying antics of Mr. Donald Trump. I created it in After Effects with Mettle Skybox Studio, and created the sound design elements in Ableton Live.

APRIL FOOL'S FOOD PRONUNCIATION GUIDE (2016)

A parody food pronunciation guide that I created for Spoon University as an April Fool's joke. Ideation/content credit is due to Magnus Ferguson and Giselle Waters.

FIVE O' CLOCK FRIDAYS: SRIRACHA JELL-O SHOTS (2016)

A hosted recipe video created for Spoon University. I was responsible for all of the post-production – including video editing, motion graphics, and mixing. Max Bartick operated the camera, and Brooke Hamroff is the host.

FOOD NETWORK SNAPCHAT: RIP OPEN AN APPLE (2016)

A vertical video (top snap and bottom snap) created for Food Network's Snapchat Discover channel. It is a sort-of-serious-but-not-actually-serious tutorial on how to rip open an apple with one's bare hands. I hosted and edited the video.

SCARLATTI: KEYBOARD SONATA IN A MAJOR (2014)

This is an album of Scarlatti harpsichord sonatas performed by Nickolai Sheikov, and produced for Musica Omnia. I completed 95% of the editing on the album – hundreds of edits in total. The editing was completed in Pyramix 9 - sometimes working from the original musical score, and sometimes under the direction of the performer (Nickolai Sheikov). In addition to editing, I handled noise removal using Algorithmix reNOVAtor, and worked with the performer to select takes for the final edit. Original recording session and final mix by Joel Gordon.
